Casa terms
Last updated 12 October 2026
These terms cover casa.family, the Casa app and the Casa waitlist. By using them you agree to these terms.
Who we are
Casa is run by Casa Family, Inc., a Delaware corporation based in New York, NY (“Casa”, “we”). You can reach us at hola@casa.family.
What Casa is, and what it isn’t
Casa is an app for sending money to family and spending it. Casa is not a bank and never holds your money. Accounts, balances, sending, Visa cards and identity checks are provided by Whop and its licensed partners. When you open an account with them, their own terms apply to it, alongside these.
Early access
Casa is in early access. Joining the waitlist doesn’t guarantee an account, a card, a date, or that Casa will open in your country. Cards need an identity check and the issuer’s approval. Features, availability and fees may change as Casa opens. Before any send, Casa shows you the amount and the fee, and nothing is sent until you confirm.
The waitlist
When you join, you give us a WhatsApp number or an email that is yours to give. We use it only to tell you about Casa opening, as our privacy page describes, and you can remove yourself at any time.
Using Casa fairly
- Use Casa only for lawful purposes, and only with your own accounts and contact details.
- Don’t sign others up without their permission, sign up in bulk or by script, or try to get around limits.
- Don’t interfere with casa.family or the app, probe them for weaknesses without our permission, or use them to defraud anyone.
Our name and content
The Casa name, logo, artwork and text belong to Casa Family, Inc. The people, cards, amounts and routes shown on casa.family are examples.
No guarantees
casa.family, the app and the waitlist are provided as they are and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about them beyond what these terms say.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Casa isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for casa.family, the app and the waitlist is limited to US$100. Nothing here limits rights you have that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Changes
We may update these terms as Casa grows. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we’ll tell you before it takes effect.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in New York County, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them there.
