How can we help?
Plain answers about sending, the card and your account. If yours isn’t here, write to us in any language.
People often ask
Early access
When does Casa open?
Casa is in early access and opens country by country. Leave your WhatsApp number or email on casa.family and we’ll write the moment it opens where you are.
I joined the list. What happens next?
Nothing to do. If you left an email, you got a welcome email with your own link to share with family. Then we write once more, when Casa opens for you.
Which countries can I send to?
Casa works in the countries on this list, from Mexico and the Philippines to Nigeria and the UK. It opens country by country, and cards need an ID check and the issuer’s approval.
Where do I get the app?
Casa is coming to the App Store and Google Play. We’ll send you the link the day it opens for you.
How do I leave the list?
Every email from Casa has a link that removes you in one click. Or write to hola@casa.family and we’ll delete your entry.
Sending money
How fast does it arrive?
In seconds. It lands in their own Casa account and you both see the moment it does. No pickup line.
What does it cost?
You see the full amount and the fee before you confirm, and nothing sends until you do. No hidden fees. We’ll publish fees before Casa opens, and you can start with $1.
What currency do they get?
US dollars. Send $200 and $200.00 lands in their Casa account. When they pay in another currency, Visa converts it at the moment they pay.
Who can I send to?
Family with their own Casa account. Each adult signs in to their own account and keeps their own money. Invite them from the app, then check their name before you confirm a send.
My send says pending
Pending money may not be ready to spend yet. Give it a moment and check the send again in Casa. If it stays pending, write to hola@casa.family with the time you sent it and who it went to.
The card
Is it a real Visa card?
Yes. A Visa card in their name, tied to their own Casa balance, after a quick ID check.
Does it work with Apple Pay and Google Pay?
Yes, where available. They can add their card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and tap to pay.
Where can they spend it?
Anywhere Visa works. The pharmacy, the market, the bus. They can spend it the moment it lands.
Who can get a card?
Cards need an ID check and the issuer’s approval, and they aren’t in every country yet. Use your real country of residence when you apply.
My card was declined
Check your balance and whether any money is still pending, then check your card in Casa. If it still doesn’t work, write to hola@casa.family. Never send your full card number in a message.
Safety and privacy
Is Casa a bank?
No. Casa is the app you send and spend with. Accounts, balances and Visa cards come from Whop and its financial partners, and Casa never holds your money.
What can my family see?
They see what arrived, never what you buy. Each person keeps their own money, and Casa never sees anyone’s card or bank numbers or password.
Someone asked for my code
Don’t share it. Casa never asks for your password, verification codes or full card number, by email, WhatsApp or phone. If someone does, it isn’t us. Tell us at hola@casa.family.
I lost my phone
Your money lives in your account, not on your phone. You sign in to Casa with Whop, so sign in to Whop from another device to secure your account, and Whop help can help you get back in.
Your data
What does Casa keep about me?
Your Whop sign-in, your family connections, your alert settings and, if you joined the list, your number or email. Your family list stays on your phone. The privacy page lists every detail.
How do I delete my data?
Turn off money-arrived alerts or sign out, and that phone’s alert address is deleted. Disconnecting from a family member ends the connection for both of you. For anything else, write to hola@casa.family and we’ll delete it.
